South and Southeast Asia

Given SHF's focus on sanitation economies and the menstrual health market in LMICs, South and Southeast Asia are key regions to track, learn and grow our expanding footprint.

Under the guidance of our board members, many of whom are experts on the region, and our team leadership who have deep experience across Asia, we have been engaging in phase 1 of Our Approach i.e. market scoping and exploring engagements with countries based on market maturity, including through South-South cooperation and multilateral dialogue such as the G20 working group discussions and the recent One Earth summit in Hong Kong. 

In coming months, as we complete work on our sanitation economy and menstrual health market maturity frameworks and build out our technical assistance and SME support portfolios, we look forward to fostering new partnerships in this critical region.
